Odor Investigations
Horizon has substantial experience investigating odor complaints against a client’s operations and providing recommendations to address the complaints and an engineered resolution of the cause in situations when the complaints are legitimate.
In some situations, our clients’ processing of odorous materials takes place inside a building with inadequate ventilation and capture of the odorous air, and inadequate air pollution control, typically chemical scrubbers to treat odorous air. Horizon is experienced at assessing a building’s ventilation requirements, designing effective capture systems, and analyzing, and, if necessary, designing improved air pollution control systems.
