William J. Farrell, Senior Project Toxicologist/Project Manager, has over 23 years of experience in environmental compliance, environmental due diligence, and Part 201 and Part 213 risk assessment projects. Mr. Farrell researches and evaluates potential human health risks associated with exposure to contaminated sites. He specializes in integrating laboratory data, computer-generated environmental fate modeling data, and chemical-specific environmental fate information into exposure scenarios that are used to predict the level of risk posed to populations near sites of environmental contamination. He also uses his expertise to assist in developing site investigation work plans and remedial actions plans to ensure both their effectiveness and their adherence to all relevant local, state, and Federal regulations (CERCLA, RCRA, Clean Water Act, etc.). His risk-related experiences include negotiations with various state agencies regarding risk-based cleanup levels for contaminants present in soil and ground water, and the preparation of many land-use based risk assessments and remedial action plans for contaminated sites.

Mr. Farrell earned his M.S. in Environmental Health Science (with specialization in Cellular Chemistry and Toxicology) from the University of Michigan and a B.A. in Health Science at Kalamazoo College.
