Elizabeth U. Bartz, Senior Project Geologist and Project Manager, possesses significant CERCLA and environmental due diligence experience. She has been involved in over a hundred Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. Her technical strengths in hydrogeology include characterizing contaminated sites through environmental sampling of soil gas, ground water, soils, surface water and sediment; evaluating ground water and soil contamination situations; designing monitoring well networks; and conducting geophysical investigations. Her knowledge of state and Federal regulations such as CERCLA and Michigan Act 451 is valuable in planning investigations that support cleanup and/or closure within these programs. She has additional experience in the preparation of environmental impact statements and hazardous material assessments. Ms. Bartz has worked in the environmental consulting arena for over 19 years.
Ms. Bartz earned a M.S. in Geology from Southern Illinois University and a B.S. in Geosciences from the University of Arizona.
