Charlene A. McGue, Senior Project Geologist and Project Manager, has over 20 years of experience in environmental science and consulting, with an emphasis in the development of comprehensive remedial action plans for sites of environmental contamination including initial evaluation, interim response, remedial investigation, remedial action, operation and maintenance, and monitoring. Her technical strengths in hydrogeology include characterizing contaminated sites through environmental sampling of soil gas, ground water, soils, surface water and sediment; evaluating ground water, soil and sediment contamination under Michigan's land-use based cleanup criteria; design and evaluation of aquifer tests including both pumping tests and in-situ permeability test; evaluation of ground water flow systems; and the evaluation of fate and transport including natural attenuation of environmental contaminants, designing groundwater remedial systems and free product recovery systems and conducting geophysical investigations. Her knowledge of state and Federal regulations such as CERCLA, RCRA and Michigan Act 451 is valuable in planning investigations that support cleanup and/or closure within these programs.
Ms. McGue received a M.S. in Geology and Geophysics and a B.S. in Geology from the Ohio State University
